This exhibition celebrates the practice of Emily Kam Kngwarray, one of Australia’s most important Australian First Nation artists. Kngwarray's reputation as one of Australia’s most significant artists reached a crescendo since her emergence on the Australian contemporary art scene in the early 1990s. Although Kngwarray’s painting career was only eight years in duration, previously, Kngwarray had eleven years working with Batik, which is embedded in her painting practice.
