Great hotel to stay when in Canberra

Great service and rooms had everything we needed (including for a longer stay, if applicable). The restaurant, Marble & Grain, was excellent and a welcome bonus! I will definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone either travelling with friends or family.

Excellent choice in Canberra city

Great location walking distance to the city restaurants and pubs. Braddon just behind the hotel with great shopping, bars and trendy restaurant. Lovely, friendly staff and clean and nicely decorated rooms with balcony looking out to the garden courtyard.

Will definitely stay again

This was a great place to stay. Bed soooo comfortable. Great location. Friendly staff. Would be nice if it had packets of instant coffee in rooms also....minor detail though. Breakfast good. Car parking great. Will definitely stay again."

Stylish hotel

Stylish hotel, the most comfortable bed! Perfect for sore tired bodies from skiing and snowboarding. Staff friendly, room service OK, restaurant nice, pretty close to good restaurants and shops. Very quiet city. Best to book through hotel or pay additional parking fees. Excellent toiletries. Spa bath wasn't clean so had to have it bleached before use. I'd definitely recommend.

Short break in Canberra

I had the best experience from the moment I checked in. The team that welcomed me had a joke and welcomed me. We got an upgrade to the fourth floor and free parking. Try the steak at the restaurant also you'll want to indulge with the spa room! Will stay again thank you team!

I think I've found my favourite place to stay in Canberra.

Being so close to Canberra Centre made staying at Avenue an easy decision. There is also a wide selection of cafes and restaurants in walking distance around this hotel. The rooms are spacious, neat and tidy. The team from reception, maintenance and house keeping are All excellent. Nothing is any trouble. I would like to give a shout out and thanks to Tess at reception and Darren from maintenance! I think I've found my favourite place to stay in Canberra.

Best home away from home in Canberra

Perfect location. Walking distance to the Civic where there's so many food and shopping options. The parking at the hotel is great especially because you can enter and exit as many times as you like. Our room was comfortable and quiet, the perfect place to relax after a big day of exploring.

Stay at the Avenue Hotel Canberra

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Avenue Hotel and would stay there again. The two bedroom suite had all of the amenities that we needed including two bathrooms, a kitchen and laundry, three TVs and balconies with a lovely view. It was extremely clean and modern.

Highly recommended

This is our favourite hotel in Canberra. The one bedroom suites have lots of room and a great balcony. It’s always incredibly clean. Beds are soft but very comfortable. It’s a short walk to Civic for shopping, and there’s lots of drinking and dining options right behind the hotel. Staff are always very friendly. Lots of parking under the hotel at a reasonable rate. Highly recommended.

Unbelievably great

What an amazing clean well run establishment 10 stars I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in Canberra the facilities within the apartment not hotel room was unbelievable it has everything you need to stay for two weeks if you wish.

Highly Recommended

Great option for all kind of stays; leisure or work it’s a great option, great location and the rooms are comfortable big and quite modern and they have great amenities! Did I mention they even offer makeup removal wipes as part of their amenities!

Pleasant place to stay

We always prefer to stay here when travelling to Canberra. It is well positioned to all amenities and the rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff are very professional and very attentive to our needs.

I was blown away by my room

I was blown away by my room. Spotless and the spa bath was amazing. Lots of places to eat as well as their own restaurant. Only had breakfast buffet which I cannot fault. Highly recommend this place. Would definitely go again.

Food and wine are divine!!

Modern, stylish and Beautiful Accomodation, we stayed in the spacious apartment Spa suite for my birthday it was gorgeous, a relaxing getaway. Staff were really helpful and friendly and the Marble and Grain restaurant speaks for itself... Food and wine are divine!! Free parking for guests under the building was much appreciated too!

100% Would Stay Again

Excellent room service from the Marble & Grain, delicious, fast & hot (highly recommend the burger!). We had a car which we could park securely in the underground car park and which made sightseeing trips easy, as parking is plentiful at the main Canberra attractions. One criticism was that rooms were warm and we sometimes needed the air conditioning though it wasn't hot outside, but this was really a non issue. Highly recommend and would definitely stay at The Avenue again.

Great stay in Canberra

The hotel and room were really, comfortable and clean - the bed was one of the comfiest I have ever slept in. The buffet breakfast was yummy - lovely droid and very well presented. The hotel is in a great location with lots of shops and restaurants around.

Always an excellent stay

We have stayed at The Avenue a few times now. This time in a spa room. Always a good experience. The service is always on point. The restaurant Marble and Grain is delicious as is in room dining coming from the same place. Great location in the city. Close to several other restaurants and bars. Easy parking. Will definitely be back.

Extremely happy​​

Extremely happy with the Avenue. Close to the city centre and public transport. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very friendly staff on reception. Plenty of free parking.

A great stay in Canberra 

We have stayed at The Avenue several times and it has never let us down. Great location, high quality rooms and exemplary service staff. The one bedroom apartment has everything we need for a stay, with very comfortable beds, cooking and washing facilities and plenty of space. During our last stay we unfortunately contracted COVID, and the very considerate staff immediately offered a full refund on our unused nights. Highly recommend this hotel!

Another Great Stay at Avenue

Avenue is our preferred hotel when we visit Canberra. Great location in easy walking distance to Civic and ANU. The rooms are comfortable and the staff are always helpful. We like to stay in the one bedroom apartment for the living space.

Great hotel, centralise, easy to get around

The hotel is great, new, modern and clean. Service was good and staff were helpful. The breakfast was nice too. Overall I have enjoyed my 7 days of stay and will definitely go back when the next I'm in Canberra.

Family weekend away 

Loved the rooms, the service and the location. Service was great, the rooms were amazing!. The shower doesn't have great pressure but no different from other hotels I guess. I would definitely be a returning customer.
