"Stayed for 3 nights and loved this hotel. We will definitely return! The bed would have to be the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The location is excellent, walking distance to plenty of restaurants and shopping. The restaurant onsite was really good. It's fairly small so books out easily."

Couple having short trip to Canberra Central!

"Very nice hotel. Started with friendly helpful staff, free car park & very clean well presented room. Amazingly comfy bed! Room service was very nice service & quality. Hotel in great spot for short stroll to Canberra Centre. Will definitely stay again."

A fantastic hotel!

"I stayed in a one bedroomed apartment in this superb hotel. Good location as it is near Civic and ANU as well as near some very good restaurants; had the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept on; friendly and helpful staff. I was only sorry that I did not have a chance to eat in the hotel's restaurant. I would stay in this hotel again in a heartbeat!"

No fuss excellence!

"Had a wonderful week long stay at The Avenue Hotel Canberra - everything was brilliant - understated, no-fuss, and simple. The rooms are large, clean and well appointed. Reception staff were always happy to help, and the restaurant provided a buffet breakfast with a huge range (and an appetising menu for lunch/dinner/room service). We'll be back."

A great hotel in the heart of Canberra! 

"I stayed here for business on the recommendation of a colleague.

I can't say enough nice things, staff is friendly, car park is roomy, room is very spacious and clean. All appliances worked flawlessly, great coffee and nice surprises (teas and chocolates) from the housekeeping staff throughout my stay. Would definitely stay again!!"

"A gem of a hotel amongst many Canberra options. Location in Braddon was perfect with many restaurants and cafes within walking distance. Hotel was modern, comfortable and a great vibe. Quirky design. Great restaurant and bar."
